The absence becomes a truancy after 10 days if it is not cleared?
Each period or day of a student absences cost Van Nuys High monies that pay for teachers and staff, supplies, a nurse and other essentials.
Every parent must have high expectation and clearly state attending school is mandatory and so is good grades. Education provides options.
